Lead middle grades faith development teacher
First Unitarian Church is seeking a dynamic, energetic, caring, and organized person to be the Lead Teacher in our two faith development programs for middle grades youth. You'll work mostly on Sunday mornings with youth in 6th through 9th grade, taking the lead in a monthly youth group meeting and being the lead teacher in a weekly class. You'll work alongside volunteer teachers and advisors while taking the lead in communication with the team and the youth. Join a group of compassionate and friendly young people in a vibrant, welcoming Unitarian Universalist church.
4 hours/week, primarily in-person on Sunday mornings at the Church building in Worcester. Being available for occasional weekend field trips with the youth is a bonus. This is a temporary position through June 2027. This job is compatible with a school-year schedule; students are encouraged to apply. Pay is $18.50/hour.
