The First Unitarian Church is almost entirely accessible for those with limited mobility.
For those with Limited Mobility: Park in the parking lot between the Church and the (old) County Court House (Church Street, off of Main Street.) If you come in the open door there, you can reach the sanctuary without any steps. There is space for wheelchairs in front of the pews along both sides, and in the last pews on both sides.
For those with Limited Hearing: There are personal amplification devices available which broadcast the service throughout the sanctuary and the building. They are located at the rear of the sanctuary on the courthouse side. Ask one of the ushers for assistance.
For those with Limited Vision: Large Print versions of the Gray hymnal and the Order of Service are available, ask the ushers.
In our Faith Development Classes: Parents should discuss their child’s needs (physical, mental, emotional, or allergies) with the Director of Faith Development as soon as possible. We wish to welcome all people to our programs, so we will make whatever accommodations necessary.
