Religious Education
The First Unitarian Church of Worcester offers a full range of programs for all children, from newborns through High School. For this weeks activities in each class, see RE This Week.
On three Sundays of each month, children attend the beginning of the regular 10:30 worship with their families. On the remaining Sunday, they meet for a Childrens Chapel.

The Religious Education Program at First Unitarian is directed by Sierra-Marie Gerfao, a professional religious educator.
Born in New Mexico, Ms. Gerfao spent her childhood in Colorado where her family was active at the Foothills Unitarian Church in Fort Collins. Her sense of calling to family ministry was strong even as a child. Since 2001, Ms. Gerfao served the Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Olympia, WA, as their Director of Religious Education. She is a member of the Liberal Religious Educators Association (LREDA) and has served a term as treasurer for the Pacific Northwest District's LREDA chapter.
Sierra-Marie and her wife, Gina, are mothers of two children, an energetic and active two year old boy and an equally energetic one year old foster daughter who they hope to adopt. As foster parents, Sierra-Marie and Gina have been blessed with the opportunity to parent children newborn through fifteen years old.
